Comfort, Class, Convenience – L’Auberge Has It All!
Located two hours from Houston on Contraband Bayou in fabled Lake Charles, LA, L’Auberge du Lac Casino Resort offers 242 acres of luxury and entertainment. Groups meeting at the resort can enjoy a variety of options, as well as state-of-the-art meeting space and accommodations, all without ever leaving the property grounds.

For getting down to business, L’Auberge features approximately 26,000 square feet of meeting and conference space, including a business center and conference registration area. The design, inspired by early 20th century arts and crafts architecture, gives the ballroom and meeting space a warm welcoming atmosphere. The multi-function facility includes a 14,175-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate banquet seating for up to 1,182 guests, or theater style seating for 1,500. It can also be broken up into six separate meeting areas. The conference center features the 3,892-square-foot Sycamore Room, which can be divided into four separate meeting rooms; the 1,653-square-foot Cypress Room; and board rooms of 697 square feet each.
After the meeting is over, the resort offers plenty of opportunities for fun and relaxation. The property includes a 30,000-square-foot casino with nonstop Vegas-style gaming; a Tom Fazio-designed, 18-hole championship golf course; a pool and lazy river; a first-class spa and fully-equipped exercise facility; and a variety of innovative dining options. Along the promenade, The Shops at L’Auberge offer attendees a chance to browse or purchase unique items such as jewelry, golf equipment, toys for children or pets, designer clothing and flowers.
And at the end of the day, meeting attendees can unwind in one of approximately 1,000 spacious rooms, including private villas and 147 luxury suites. Executive suites range in size from approximately 550 square feet to over 2,100 square feet, including a private “villa complex” adjacent to the hotel tower overlooking either the lavish resort pool area or beautiful Contraband Bayou. Each villa also includes a private courtyard and spa.
Last year, L’Auberge unveiled a $67-million hotel tower expansion project – the 9-story building features 252 new guest rooms and suites, 10 of which are luxury garden suites with private terraces and butler service. The expansion also features a VIP lounge, VIP lobby and VIP elevator providing private access to the tower’s new luxury second floor suites. The tower is connected to the existing 26-story hotel structure but features separate elevator access.
Looking for luxury? Five of the ground-floor suites feature private gardens fronting on a new adults-only pool area complete with luxury cabanas, and five feature outdoor “Florida rooms.” All of the new high-end, first-floor suites have quick-fill, two-person outdoor bathtubs carved from individual blocks of Italian travertine.
